Guide

Self-custody without compromise

What "your keys, your coins" means in practice.

Full control and its price

In a non-custodial wallet, the seed phrase is generated and encrypted on your device — I-Trade is technically incapable of managing or freezing your assets. The flip side: no one can recover a lost seed phrase.

That is why, when creating a wallet, we strongly encourage you to make an encrypted backup — to iCloud or as a file stored in a secure location.

Bridge between your wallet and account

Transfers between the Wallet and your I-Trade trading account are completed in one swipe — no address copying and no risk of sending funds to the wrong network. Nine blockchains are supported; the platform fee is €0, and you only pay the network gas.

Assets in the trading account can be taken over by algorithmic strategy; assets in the wallet — only you.

Web3 without blind signing

The leading cause of losses in DeFi is signing transactions you don't understand. Wallet simulates every transaction before signing and presents it in plain language: what will leave, what will arrive, and which permissions the contract will receive.

Suspicious contracts and known phishing addresses are flagged automatically against continuously updated threat lists.

FAQ

Questions & answers

How does a non-custodial wallet differ from exchange custody?

In the I-Trade Wallet non-custodial wallet, private keys are encrypted on your device and never leave it — the platform is technically unable to manage your assets. On an exchange, the venue holds the keys. In return, full responsibility for the seed phrase rests with the owner.

What happens if I lose my seed phrase?

Losing your seed phrase without a backup means permanent loss of access to your assets — no one, including I-Trade, can recover it. For this reason, the wallet offers encrypted backup to iCloud or a file upon creation — set it up immediately.

How much does I-Trade Wallet cost?

The wallet is free: €0 to create and maintain, no platform fees for transfers — you pay only network fees (gas). 9 blockchain networks are supported, and transfers between the wallet and the I-Trade trading account are done in a single swipe.
