Cookie Policy
Updated: 11 June 2026Which storage technologies the i-trade.io site uses and how to manage your choices.
This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and similar storage technologies (in particular localStorage) are used by the i-trade.io website, on what legal basis, for what purposes, and how you can manage your choices. This Policy supplements the Privacy Policy.
The operator of the i-trade.io website under the I-Trade brand and the data controller is ITRADE ENTERPRISE LTD — a company registered in England and Wales, Company No. 09038312, registered office: 22 Kingsley Close, Birkenshaw, Bradford, West Yorkshire, United Kingdom, BD11 2NH.
1. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies
Cookies are small text files that a website saves to your device and that your browser sends to the server with each request. localStorage technology serves a similar purpose differently: data is stored solely in your browser and is not transmitted to the server automatically. Our site uses localStorage to remember your preferences.
2. Legal Bases for Processing
In the United Kingdom, the use of cookies and similar technologies is governed by the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR), and in respect of personal data processing, by the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. For visitors from the EEA, Article 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC (ePrivacy Directive) and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) apply.
Strictly necessary and functional technologies without which a feature you have requested cannot operate (such as saving your consent choice) do not require consent. All optional technologies — analytics in particular — are activated only after your explicit prior consent via the banner.
3. What the Site Actually Stores on Your Device
The site does not currently set any first-party cookies. Only the following localStorage entries are used; all are functional in nature, stored exclusively on your device, not shared with third parties, and not used for tracking purposes:
- it-consent (localStorage) — your choice in the consent banner: "all" (accept all) or "essential" (essential only). Stored until you delete the entry or change your selection.
- it-theme (localStorage) — interface preferences (colour theme, accent colour, font). Stored until preferences are reset or site data is cleared.
- it-lang (localStorage) — your selected interface language. Stored until changed or site data is cleared.
4. Analytics — Consent Required
Analytics tools are loaded only after you have clicked "Accept All" in the consent banner. If you selected "Essential Only" or made no selection, analytics are not loaded and no analytics identifiers are created.
Analytics activated with your consent collects anonymised visit statistics (which pages are viewed, from which sources visitors arrive) and is not combined with the personal data of your Account.
5. What We Do Not Do
- We do not use third-party advertising cookies or ad network trackers.
- We do not share your activity data with social networks or data brokers.
- We do not use device fingerprinting for cross-site tracking.
- We do not combine analytics data with account personal data.
6. Third-Party Resources
Font files may be loaded from Google Fonts servers (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com). When loading these files, Google receives your IP address; however, no first-party cookies are set on our site as a result. For further information on third-party data processing, see the Privacy Policy.
7. How to Withdraw Consent and Manage Your Choices
You may change your choice at any time. Delete the "it-consent" entry in your browser settings (under "Site data") — on your next visit the consent banner will reappear and you will be able to make a new selection. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal.
You may also manage cookies and site data using your browser's built-in controls: blocking or deleting entries, using private browsing mode, or installing tracker-blocking extensions. Please note that clearing site data will delete both your interface preferences (language, theme) and your saved consent choice.
8. Policy Changes
If new categories of cookie or storage technologies are added, we will update this page and, where necessary, seek fresh consent. The date of the most recent update is indicated in the header of this document.
